Responsibilities
- Lead urban planning projects from inception to completion.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to create innovative, sustainable designs.
- Prepare and present planning reports, studies, and recommendations to clients and stakeholders.
- Mentor junior planners and support their professional development.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources.
- Represent the company at industry events and conferences.
- Contribute to business development efforts.
Qualifications
- A Master's degree in Urban Planning, Architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in urban planning.
- Proven experience leading complex planning projects.
- Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and GIS software.
- Knowledge of NYC zoning codes and land use regulations.
- Experience with LEED and sustainable design principles.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel as needed.
