Urban Design Associates is seeking a Senior Urban Planner to join our dynamic team in New York. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-impact projects that shape the future of our city.
Responsibilities
- Lead urban planning projects from inception to completion.
- Conduct site analysis, feasibility studies, and master planning.
- Prepare and present reports, plans, and recommendations to clients and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, including architects, engineers, and landscape architects.
- Stay updated on urban planning trends and best practices.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to the growth of our practice.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Urban Planning, Architecture, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in urban planning, with a focus on New York City.
- Licensed as a Professional Planner (AICP) or eligible for licensure.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and GIS software.
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
