Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
- Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals and disciplines.
- Document patient care activities accurately and completely.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
- Demonstrate leadership and mentoring skills to less experienced nurses.
- Participate in performance improvement initiatives.
- Adapt to changes in patient conditions and prioritize care accordingly.
Qualifications
- Current California RN license.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree.
- Minimum of 3 years of recent Medical Surgical experience.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Adaptability and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated commitment to patient-centered care.
- Ability to work rotating shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
