Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Policy Advisor to join our team in Amsterdam. In this role, you will contribute to the development and implementation of policy strategies that support the city's vision and goals.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement policy strategies and plans.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather input and align policy initiatives.
- Monitor and analyze policy trends and impacts.
- Prepare reports and presentations for senior management and elected officials.
- Represent the city at local, national, and international events.
- Manage and mentor junior policy advisors.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Administration, Political Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience (7+ years) in policy development and implementation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Dutch and English.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Knowledge of local government policies and processes.
