Responsibilities
- Assess patient health problems and needs, develop and implement nursing care plans, and maintain patient records.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and according to established policies and procedures.
- Coordinate care with physicians and other members of the healthcare team.
- Provide patient education and family support.
- Perform clinical duties and technical procedures.
- Monitor and record patients' vital signs and physical conditions.
- Report changes in patient status to the healthcare team.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program with a valid RN license in New York State.
- Current BLS certification.
- Minimum of one year of relevant clinical experience preferred.
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of evidence-based practice.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to patient-centered care and cultural competency.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Bilingual skills preferred.
