Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians.
- Monitor and document patient vital signs and progress.
- Provide comfort and support to patients and their families.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement care plans.
- Perform clinical duties such as wound care, IV therapy, and phlebotomy.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.
- Assist in maintaining accurate patient records and documentation.
- Provide patient education and discharge instructions.
Qualifications
- Current RN license in New York.
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in an acute care setting.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
- Demonstrated commitment to patient-centered care and cultural competency.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, such as lifting and moving patients.
