Responsibilities
- Accurately document patient encounters using electronic health records (EHR).
- Assist providers in rooming patients and obtaining vital signs.
- Coordinate with clinic staff to ensure smooth patient flow.
- Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling follow-ups and ordering tests.
- Demonstrate professionalism and maintain patient confidentiality.
- Assist with quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a healthcare field preferred.
- Previous medical scribe or clinical experience is a plus.
- Strong typing speed and accuracy (at least 60 WPM).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
