Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive patient care, including history taking, physical exams, and diagnostic tests.
- Develop and implement treatment plans, and coordinate care with other healthcare providers.
- Prescribe medications and order diagnostic tests as needed.
- Educate patients and their families on health conditions and treatment options.
- Perform administrative tasks, such as documentation and charting.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and research projects.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
- Current New York State Nurse Practitioner license.
- Board certification in a specialty (e.g., Family, Adult-Gerontology, Pediatrics, Women's Health, Psychiatric-Mental Health).
- At least 2 years of relevant clinical experience.
- Excellent communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in EHR systems and medical software.
