Responsibilities
- Edit and assemble footage to create compelling narratives.
- Work with a team to brainstorm creative concepts and storyboards.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and bring it to life.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and new editing techniques.
- Mentor junior editors and provide constructive feedback.
- Manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
- Attend client meetings and provide progress updates.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Video Editor (5+ years).
- Portfolio demonstrating strong storytelling skills and creativity.
- Proficiency in Avid Media Composer, Final Cut Pro, or Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Familiarity with color correction and sound design.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Bachelor's degree in Film Studies, Broadcast Journalism, or a related field.
