Join GreenSpace Architects, a leading urban design firm, as our new Senior Urban Designer. We're seeking a creative and experienced professional to lead and inspire our design team in creating sustainable, innovative, and functional urban spaces.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor junior designers in project development.
- Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand project goals and constraints.
- Prepare and present design concepts, reports, and presentations.
- Coordinate with engineers, planners, and other consultants to ensure design feasibility.
- Stay up-to-date with urban design trends and best practices.
- Manage project timelines and budgets.
- Contribute to business development efforts.
- Mentor and train junior staff.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Urban Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in urban design.
- Proven leadership and mentoring skills.
- Strong design, communication, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, and SketchUp.
- Knowledge of LEED, SITES, or other sustainability rating systems.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel as needed.
