Responsibilities
- Develop and implement purchasing strategies that align with our business objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing to maximize savings and value.
- Oversee the purchasing process, ensuring efficiency and compliance.
- Analyze spend data to identify trends and opportunities for cost reduction.
- Manage a team of purchasing professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and support business needs.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies in procurement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field. MBA preferred.
- Proven experience (8+ years) in strategic sourcing and purchasing, with at least 3 years in a management role.
- Strong analytical skills and data-driven decision-making approach.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and procurement software.
- Certification as a Chartered Procurement Officer (CPO) or similar is a plus.
- Experience in the tech industry is desirable but not required.
- Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time.
