Responsibilities
- Oversee the general ledger and prepare financial statements.
- Manage the month-end and year-end close process.
- Supervise junior accountants and provide mentorship.
- Collaborate with management to provide financial insights and analysis.
- Implement and maintain internal controls.
- Stay up-to-date with accounting standards and best practices.
- Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits.
- Prepare and review tax filings.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in accounting, with at least 3 years in a senior role.
- Proven experience with IFRS and Dutch GAAP.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Fluent in English and Dutch.
- CPA or similar certification is a plus.
- Experience in the tech industry is a plus.
