Responsibilities
- Prepare and review financial statements
- Manage month-end and year-end closings
- Supervise junior accountants and interns
- Collaborate with management to provide financial insights
- Implement and maintain internal controls
- Stay up-to-date with accounting standards and best practices
- Assist with audit and tax preparation
- Participate in special projects as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- CPA certification or progress towards certification
- 7+ years of experience in accounting, including at least 3 years in a senior role
- Proficient in GAAP and IFRS
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Experience with NetSuite is a plus
