Responsibilities
- Analyze and underwrite complex insurance risks.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with brokers and clients.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely policy issuance.
- Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes.
- Mentor junior underwriters and contribute to team training.
- Achieve underwriting profitability and growth targets.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in commercial insurance underwriting.
- Proven track record of profitable underwriting and portfolio growth.
- Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products and markets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and underwriting software.
- CPCU or similar designation is a plus.
