Responsibilities
- Safely operate and maneuver trucks to transport goods
- Plan and optimize routes for efficient deliveries
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securing during transport
- Maintain vehicle logs, perform pre-trip inspections, and report any issues
- Adhere to traffic laws and safety regulations
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
- Perform minor maintenance tasks and keep the truck clean
- Work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Qualifications
- Valid EU/Amsterdam truck driving license (C, C1, C+E, C1+E)
- At least 2 years of proven truck driving experience
- Excellent driving record and safety awareness
- Fluent in Dutch and English
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 25 kg)
- Willingness to work flexible hours
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with navigation systems
- Adaptability to various cargo types and loading/unloading techniques
