We are seeking a skilled Construction Estimator to join our team in Chennai. This role involves preparing cost estimates for construction projects, ensuring accuracy and timeliness to support our project management team.
Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects.
- Research and gather data to support cost estimates.
- Collaborate with project managers and other teams to ensure estimates are accurate and realistic.
- Analyze and interpret blueprints, specifications, and other project documents.
- Monitor and update estimates throughout the project lifecycle.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our estimating processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Construction Estimator or similar role.
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, Sage Estimating) and MS Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with local construction market and material costs.
