Responsibilities
- Assist teachers in lesson planning and preparation
- Provide one-on-one support to students during lessons
- Lead small group activities and workshops
- Manage classroom behavior and create a positive learning environment
- Assist with administrative tasks and grading
- Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and students
- Participate in professional development opportunities
- Contribute to a collaborative and inclusive school community
Qualifications
- Relevant education or experience in primary education
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Dutch is an asset
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team and independently
- Patience, creativity, and a genuine love for teaching
- Valid background check and first aid certification
- Experience with diverse student populations
- Knowledge of the Dutch education system is a plus
