Responsibilities
- Lead web development projects from inception to launch.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using modern web development best practices.
- Optimize websites for performance, accessibility, and SEO.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to code reviews.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging web technologies and trends.
- Ensure compliance with government web standards and accessibility guidelines.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in web development, with a strong portfolio of government or high-traffic websites.
- Expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern web development frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue).
- Strong understanding of responsive design, accessibility, and web performance optimization.
- Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
- Familiarity with government web standards and accessibility guidelines.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
- US Citizenship required.
