Responsibilities
- Lead the development team in designing, implementing, and maintaining our software applications.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements.
- Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and make recommendations for adoption.
- Participate in on-call rotations to provide 24/7 support as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Proven experience (7+ years) in software development, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Framework, and related technologies.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Excellent communication and leadership skills in English and Dutch.
- Ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance.
