Join our prestigious footwear atelier in the heart of New York City as our Senior Shoe Designer. We're seeking a creative and experienced professional to lead our design team in crafting luxurious, high-fashion shoes.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design process from concept to final product.
- Collaborate with pattern makers, technicians, and suppliers to ensure design feasibility.
- Stay updated on fashion trends and incorporate them into our collections.
- Manage and mentor junior designers.
- Present design concepts to our executive team and stakeholders.
- Travel domestically and internationally for design inspiration and industry events.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in shoe design, with at least 3 years in a senior role.
- Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and other design software.
- Strong understanding of shoe construction and materials.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and presentation skills.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in Italian or Spanish is a plus.
