Responsibilities
- Develop and implement purchasing strategies that align with business objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure optimal service and cost-efficiency.
- Lead cross-functional teams to evaluate and select vendors based on quality, price, and delivery.
- Negotiate contracts and manage vendor performance.
- Analyze and report on purchasing activities, trends, and metrics.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in procurement.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field. MBA preferred.
- Proven experience (10+ years) in strategic sourcing and procurement, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and procurement software.
- Certification as a CPP or CPSM is a plus.
- Experience in the tech industry is desirable.
