Responsibilities
- Develop and implement merchandising strategies.
- Analyze sales trends and make data-driven decisions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product availability.
- Manage relationships with vendors and suppliers.
- Forecast sales and manage inventory levels.
- Conduct regular market research and stay updated on industry trends.
- Train and mentor junior merchandising team members.
- Prepare and present merchandising reports to senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in merchandising, with at least 3 years in a senior role.
- Proven experience in trend analysis and sales forecasting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and merchandising software.
- Familiarity with the New York fashion scene is a plus.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
