Responsibilities
- Lead complex IT projects from inception to completion.
- Develop and manage project plans, budgets, and timelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and vendors.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
- Monitor project progress, manage risks, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Prepare and present project status reports to senior management.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry best practices.
- Mentor junior project managers and team members.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- PMP certification required.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in IT project management, with at least 3 years in a senior role.
- Proven experience managing complex IT projects in a government or related environment.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
