Responsibilities
- Develop and implement fundraising strategies to meet annual targets.
- Build and maintain relationships with donors, trusts, and statutory funders.
- Manage a team of fundraising professionals, providing leadership and support.
- Oversee the production of funding applications, reports, and other fundraising materials.
- Collaborate with the senior management team to identify new funding opportunities.
- Represent the charity at external events and meetings.
- Monitor and evaluate the impact of fundraising activities.
- Ensure compliance with fundraising regulations and best practice.
Qualifications
- A proven track record in successful fundraising, ideally at a senior level.
- Experience of managing and developing a team.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and networking skills.
- Strong written and verbal skills, with the ability to produce high-quality funding applications and reports.
- Knowledge of fundraising databases and software.
- Understanding of fundraising regulations and best practice.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
