Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic fundraising plans.
- Cultivate and steward relationships with donors.
- Write and submit grant proposals to foundations and government agencies.
- Plan and execute fundraising events.
- Collaborate with the communications team to create compelling marketing materials.
- Track and analyze fundraising data to inform strategy.
- Supervise and mentor junior development staff.
- Travel occasionally for conferences and events.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field; CFRE certification a plus.
- Proven track record in fundraising with at least 5 years of experience.
- Excellent communication, writing, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in donor management software (e.g., Raiser's Edge, Bloomerang).
- Experience working with boards and volunteers.
- Passion for our mission and commitment to our cause.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
