Responsibilities
- Develop and implement predictive models and data products to address government challenges.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into data-driven solutions.
- Mentor junior data scientists and contribute to the growth of our data science practice.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest data science trends and tools, and apply them to real-world problems.
- Communicate complex findings to non-technical stakeholders through clear and engaging visualizations and reports.
Qualifications
- Proven experience (5+ years) as a data scientist, with a strong track record of delivering impactful projects.
- Master's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related discipline).
- Excellent proficiency in Python, R, and SQL. Familiarity with big data tools (e.g., Spark, Hadoop) is a plus.
- Strong background in machine learning, statistics, and data visualization.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluency in Dutch and English.
- Right to work in the Netherlands.
