Responsibilities
- Develop and implement predictive models and machine learning algorithms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data science projects and roadmaps.
- Mentor junior data scientists and contribute to their professional development.
- Analyze and interpret complex datasets to uncover insights and trends.
- Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders through compelling visualizations and reports.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest data science tools, techniques, and best practices.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure the quality and maintainability of our data science codebase.
- Contribute to our data engineering efforts by providing insights into data processing and storage requirements.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience (7+ years) as a data scientist, with at least 3 years in a senior role.
- Strong proficiency in Python, R, and SQL.
- Experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch) and big data tools (e.g., Spark, Hadoop).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and data science project management.
