Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join our team in Washington, D.C. This role involves managing and overseeing civil engineering projects for public infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Design and plan civil engineering projects.
- Oversee project construction and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Prepare project reports and presentations.
- Manage project budgets and schedules.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders.
- Stay updated with industry best practices and standards.
- Mentor junior engineers.
- Perform site inspections and assessments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in civil engineering, with at least 5 years in a supervisory role.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant software.
- Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.
- Experience with public sector infrastructure projects.
- Knowledge of local building codes and regulations.
- Ability to obtain a security clearance.
