Responsibilities
- Provide academic, career, and social/emotional counseling to students.
- Develop and implement school counseling programs.
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student success.
- Monitor student progress and provide interventions as needed.
- Coordinate with community resources to provide additional support to students and families.
- Maintain accurate records and report on student progress.
- Provide crisis intervention and response as needed.
- Foster a safe and inclusive school environment.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in School Counseling or related field.
- Valid Illinois School Counselor License.
- Proven experience as a School Counselor.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
- Demonstrated commitment to social justice and equity.
- Bilingual skills preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
