Responsibilities
- Develop and implement logistics strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Manage and mentor a team of logistics professionals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure on-time delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Oversee inventory management and warehousing operations.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and report on logistics performance.
- Negotiate with carriers and vendors to secure favorable terms.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices.
- Participate in special projects as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in logistics and operations management.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in logistics software and tools (e.g., TMS, WMS).
- Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma or other process improvement methodologies.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel as needed.
