Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain network security systems and processes.
- Monitor and analyze network traffic for security threats and vulnerabilities.
- Conduct regular security audits and penetration tests.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security is integrated into all aspects of our business.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging security trends and threats, and recommend appropriate countermeasures.
- Provide technical guidance and training to team members and stakeholders.
- Participate in on-call rotations to provide 24/7 network security support.
- Document security policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Network Security Engineer or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of network security principles, protocols, and best practices.
- Familiarity with security tools and platforms, such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM systems, and encryption technologies.
- Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CCSP are desired.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
