Responsibilities
- Negotiate with suppliers to achieve the best prices.
- Evaluate and select vendors based on quality, price, and delivery.
- Manage inventory levels to prevent stockouts or excess stock.
- Collaborate with internal teams to understand and meet their material needs.
- Monitor market trends and adjust procurement strategies accordingly.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
- Prepare and analyze reports on procurement activities.
- Travel locally as required to meet with suppliers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
- Proven experience in industrial procurement or a similar role.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills in Hindi and English.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and procurement software.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Willingness to travel locally as required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
