Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the distribution center.
- Manage and develop a team of 50+ employees.
- Implement and maintain safety and quality control procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet customer demands.
- Analyze and improve processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Manage inventory and ensure accurate order fulfillment.
- Partner with vendors and carriers to negotiate contracts and improve service.
- Prepare and present regular reports on DC performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in distribution center management.
- Proven leadership and team-building skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience with WMS and ERP systems.
- Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma principles is a plus.
- Valid driver's license and ability to pass a background check.
- Forklift certification preferred.
