Join SwiftTrans Global as a Cross-Dock Specialist, where you'll play a pivotal role in our efficient and growing logistics operation. We're seeking a motivated professional to manage the seamless transfer of goods between different transportation modes.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the safe and timely transfer of cargo between trailers, containers, and other modes of transportation.
- Coordinate with drivers, dock workers, and other team members to ensure smooth operation.
- Perform basic cargo checks and document discrepancies.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and conveyors.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations.
- Work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in logistics or related field preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of cross-docking or related experience.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain.
- Strong physical fitness and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Proficiency in English; bilingual skills a plus.
