Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on aircraft.
- Inspect aircraft components to ensure airworthiness.
- Troubleshoot and repair aircraft systems.
- Test aircraft systems to ensure proper functioning.
- Use specialized tools and equipment to perform maintenance tasks.
- Work as part of a team to complete maintenance tasks.
- Follow Air Force and manufacturer guidelines for maintenance procedures.
- Document maintenance actions and ensure aircraft records are up-to-date.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be able to obtain a Secret security clearance.
- Must be a US citizen.
- Must be willing to relocate and deploy as needed.
- Must be able to pass a physical examination and meet Air Force enlistment standards.
- Must be able to work in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Previous experience in aircraft maintenance is desirable but not required.
- Must be willing to learn and follow Air Force and manufacturer guidelines.
